Before I published a book, I had no idea Amazon book rankings were crucial in navigating the world of online book sales, but I recently stumbled upon a website that helped me understand this better. According to the article, Amazon book rankings are more than a number, they illustrate how your book is performing; the lower the rank, the better.
So here's the catch: while I have been obsessing over my book's ranking and thinking I might go out of my mind worrying about marketing strategies that I don’t even understand and are based solely on a number, I learned it may not always be the most accurate measure of my book's success.

PLEASE if you read my book, and haven’t posted a review yet, do it now. If you need help or in case you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’ve provided examples. All you have to do is click on this link to my book!
DO’S:
1. Share a photo and/or video in your Amazon review. It helps the algorithm!
2. Be specific about what you liked
DON‘TS:
1. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the book cover to cover. You can leave a review if you’ve read part of it.
2. Don’t stress about it!
Q. Can I leave a review on Amazon if I didn’t buy the book?
A. Sure can! Most sites don’t require proof of purchase.
Here’s an example currently on Goodreads:
