Punchbucket Literary Festival
Hello everyone, I know I’ve been absent for a while. I was busy doing a few podcasts and trying to figure out what else I could do to promote my book.
It is time to invite everyone to come and join me at not one but two events that are coming up! The first one is the Punchbucket Literary Festival, where I will be sharing my book and doing an interactive talk on writing! The date of this festival is September 20 -21 in Asheville, N.C. There will be a bookfair that you won’t want to miss on Saturday, and I hope my book, The Shape of Normal, a Memoir of Motherhood, Disability, and Embracing a Different Kind of Perfect, will be featured! (At least that’s what I understand!)
I WILL be at a workshop on Saturday morning, and later in the day, I will be doing a reading from my book along with two other authors. I plan to share what my publication journey involves. I hope to have time to invite everyone who attends to participate in writing prompts. I am working diligently on some exciting activities I plan to present, and I’d love to have you there, so if you can come, please mark your calendars! I hope I get to see you there!
About a month later, I was invited to the Louisville Book Festival which ill be held in downtown Louisville at the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th from 10 am to 5 pm both days. I don’t have the details about that yet but when I do, I will post it.
Again, I would love to see you there.
