My book’s official debut date is tomorrow, November 21st, and in celebration, I am doing a virtual launch at 7 pm EST. Thank you to those who attended my Barnes & Noble pre-launch party! I had forty people show up and sold 25 books!

A few things that helped to make this event a success were things I planned ahead of time - I sent out invites and posted the time and date on social media; chose interesting excerpts from the book; ordered themed bookmarks; advertised a raffle; prepared heart-shaped cookies and passed out heart-shaped lollipops. The biggest draw was having Jessica (the subject of my book) sitting beside me.

Friends from my writing group, fellow teachers, and family all came to support me. When the event ended, the manager asked me to schedule another author event in January! Here are some photos!
